With the holidays quickly approaching, please make note of our order deadlines and turnaround times to ensure accurate delivery of your orders...

The Thin Book, The Coffee Table Book and The Newport Album- Order must be received no later than 1:00pm on 11/25/13. Prints must be approved for mounting no later than 3:00pm 11/27/2013.

Premiere Press Collection (Keepsake, Occasion and Signature) - Orders must be received no later than 1:00pm on 12/04/13

Legend, Destiny and Summit albums - Order must be received no later than 1:00pm on 12/04/13. Prints must be approved for mounting no later than 1:00pm 12/06/13.

Blankets- Orders must be received no later than 1:00pm 11/25/13.

Gallery Blocks- Orders must be received no later than 1:00pm 11/25/13.

All other items - Filmet's standard turnaround time will apply.

My Hometown- A Photo Project

    This is an article from The New York Times about a project called My Hometown. Over three thousand teenagers participated in this project and provided photographs of their hometowns. The slide show is beautiful, and it is great to see parts of the country from a perspective that doesn’t always match our own.

   Check out the slide show and perhaps leave some comments for the wonderful photographers. Every budding artist needs the encouragement. :)

Inspirational Figure of the Month

Eddie Adams has been an inspirational figure for those in our local area especially the New Kensington Camera Club for many years. Known as a famous Korean War photographer, he captured the image “'General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a Viet Cong prisoner in Saigon” which depicts the General executing a Vietcong Prisoner.

The New Kensington Camera club is the main host of the Eddie Adam’s Day that is held every year in New Kensington Pennsylvania, striving to inspire not only local photographers but those who were moved by Eddie’s career.
