"What would happen if you asked high school students to
help create a 21st-century portrait of the country by turning their
cameras on the neighborhoods, families, friends, and schools?"
This is an article from The New York Times about a project called My Hometown.
Over three thousand teenagers participated in this project and provided
photographs of their hometowns. The slide show is beautiful, and it is great to
see parts
of the country from a perspective that doesn’t always match our own.
Check out the slide show and perhaps leave some comments for the wonderful
photographers. Every budding artist needs the encouragement. :)
